Christine Wagner (aka Christine McBride) read scripts while working for Leonard Hanzer at Major Talent Agency in 1979. In the early 80s, a Franco Brusati screenplay recommendation led to an introduction to former MGM studio chief and independent producer, Raymond Wagner. Their shared vision led to their professional partnership at Raymond Wagner Productions. She assumed the position as Director of Development and became Wagner's producing partner throughout their nearly thirty years together developing projects and helping to bring Rent-a-Cop: Assistance à femme en danger (1987),Héros (1988),Turner et Hooch (1989),Run (1991), Fifty/Fifty (1992), Jour blanc (2000), Maniac Magee (2003) from screenplay to the big screen.
