Christine was born and raised in Northeast Kansas. She attended The University of Kansas where she majored in Biology.Christine grew up a tomboy in a house of brothers. She could fish & shoot a gun by the time she was 10 years old. Young Christine was never without scrapes on her knees and smudges on her face. Christine was fascinated by the plethora of bugs and animals on the Kansas Plains. This meant there were a constant parade of strays and bugs being brought home, clutched in her grubby hands.
