With his debut film, Me At The Zoo (Sundance 2012), Chris Moukarbel established a new directorial style that involved accessing a significant amount of user-generated footage from various social media outlets. He used this style to tell the story of Internet celebrity Chris Crocker and the birth of YouTube. Moukarbel was approached by HBO to chronicle Banksy's self imposed NYC residency. Banksy Does New York premiered in Nov 2014. He is also creator of the new HBO series Sex Now which explores sex and relationships in the Information Age.
