Since arriving in Los Angeles, Charlie has worked consistently in film and television. An actor, singer and writer, Charlie joined the Baywatch Hawaii cast as Zack McEwan, a lifeguard trainee who is a bit of a hot dogger. Born and raised in Rock Falls, Illinois, Charlie became interested in the arts at a young age and began formal dance training at the age of ten. When he was twelve, Charlie moved to Cincinnati to enroll in The School for Creative and Performing Arts, studying acting, dance, voice, instrumental music and musical theatre. He was cast in his first professional job in a national tour of West Side Story. For the next several years, Charlie was working in Germany, France and Singapore, as well as traveling on many international tours. When he was again cast as Riff, the lead role in West Side Story, the tour brought him to California where he decided to stay and give Hollywood a try. He has landed roles on "Fame LA", "Mad About You," "Pacific Blue," "Suddenly Susan" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Charlie also appeared in television commercials for Levi's McDonald's, the GAP, Anheuser-Busch and Miller Brewing Company. Charlie is also very involved in the LA music scene where he sings and plays the harmonica at various blues and folk clubs. He has also written a musical and has co-written a one-hour drama pilot.
