Chantria Tram is a Cambodian-born Toronto-based actress, director and producer.Her one-woman show, "Someone Between", presented for three years on numerous stages in Montreal, was awarded multiple artist-in-residencies for creation and development. She is currently developing the show with playwright/actor/director, Ins Choi, to bring it to the Toronto stage. It can be seen at the Tiger Bamboo Theatre Festival, hosted by Soulpepper Theatre Company, and presented at the Young Centre for Performing Arts as a staged reading.In 2012, she was chosen to be an artist in residence at Concordia University to lead a project called "Voices of the 1.5 Generation", sponsored by the Montreal Life Stories Project. In a space of shared authority, she worked with Khmer (Cambodian) Youths to explore and create their personal and collective narratives through acting and storytelling workshops in the context of being first and second generation Canadians.She can be seen in the webseries Teenagers(L.A Webseries Festival 2015 nominee), PScience and Model Minority, where she won Best Lead Actress in a Dramedy at the L.A Webseries Festival (2012).
