Carrie Nicole Salter was born on January 12, 1993 in Los Angeles, California. In 1997 her family relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia where she began dancing and acting at the age of 4.Right away she fell in love with dance and continued taking tap and ballet classes. When she was seven she started competing and at her first competition she won the Judge's Award for "Most Potential". Shortly after, she landed the lead role of Addy Walker in "Addy: An American Girl Story". Carrie continued to dance competitively and at age 10 her family decided to relocate to Sarasota, Florida. Her first priority was finding the best dance studio in town. She started dancing at FLEX Dance Studios in Sarasota. A few months after the move to Florida, her mother signed her up for an amazing opportunity to audition to be a Junior Rockette and dance with the NYC Rockettes in their Christmas Spectacular show. She booked the role and to this day, she says it was "one of the best experiences of her life". After she performed in the show, she went back to competitive dancing and attended dance conventions and competitions almost every weekend until age 16.When she turned 17, she finished her last semester of high school, graduated early, and was accepted into the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Moving away from home at the young age of 17 pushed her to be more independent and proactive than ever before. She got a job dancing at Universal Studios, was a member of KD Dance Company at UCF, was a dancer with DRIP Entertainment Arts Company, and continued to take dance classes around Orlando. At age 20, she moved to Los Angeles, California to fully pursue her dreams of professionally acting and dancing. She lives in Hollywood, takes dance classes at EDGE Performing Arts Center, and takes acting classes at Berg Studios taught by Gregory Berger-Sobeck. She's working on multiple film and dance projects and can't wait to see what's in store for the future!
