Mexican-American actress/producer/singer is the only one among her extended family to pursue a career in entertainment. She grew up in Venice, CA and began singing/ acting at the age of 5. Her love of music, especially of Broadway Musicals, prompted her to perform at local talent shows and events. This landed her roles in various touring companies such as Annie and Sound of Music. Also a passion was her love of Mariachi music which was nurtured by watching her parents Esequiel and Adelaida perform during her childhood. She went on to be a part of various renowned musical groups such as Mariachi Divas and "Las Nenas", a Mexican girl group.Wanting to expand her knowledge, she pursued producing at an early age and became an Assistant Producer/Producer for entertainment news shows such as Entertainment Tonight and Hard Copy and news entities such as Univison and ABC. All along she has continued to pursue her love of acting and has had continuous success in numerous television, film and theater productions in both English and Spanish.
