B-Class, birth name Byron Washington was born in Oak park, Il. He spent his early childhood on Chicago's west side, in the area known as K-Town. His parents Lloyd and Shawona Washington then moved him and older brother/ producer Lloyd Washington III to the suburb Bolingbrook, Il. B-Class is also known as "Class" , or "Classic". Rapping began for him at the age of 9 years old, when he would freestyle to his brother's drum pad cadences. He played football at the varsity high school level and basketball up to the Division III college level before pursuing music full time in 2008 after receiving his degree in communications. Since then he has independently released 5 albums and 7 mixtapes. In 2018, B-Class generated a stream of 17 bookings over 5 months in the Midwest region with an impromptu performance in Manila, PH for his "Thank You Tour". This was done to give all of the core followers an opportunity to meet him and see him live. He has performed in his community's Juneteenth festival consecutive years.
