Canadian martial arts expert Bruce Fontaine had trained extensively in Chinese martial arts most notably Choy Lee Fut and Wushu, before moving to Hong Kong to work as an actor and stuntman in the late 1980s. Fontaine made a name for himself with his remarkable flexibility and kicking ability, and became one of the most prolific actor/fighters during the "gwailo" bad guy boom of Hong Kong cinema.After stepping back from films in Hong Kong, Fontaine continued to train and has worked as a stuntman/action choreographer in Canada as well as running his Wushu school and training actors and stunt men in the Hong Kong style of action.
