The years following he immersed himself in the arts acting in productions and studying in Ojai and Santa Barbara. The film received awards and acclaim at each festival it screened at across the U.S. and was ultimately sold and distributed (re-titled: A Girl, Three Guys And A Gun). Brent's latest feature film "Eagles In The Chicken Coop," which he wrote, directed and starred in, attracted a star studded eclectic cast including Oscar Nominated, Kathleen Quinlan. "Eagles" won awards in every film festival it has entered, on two continents, including Best Pictures and Audience Award from three of Movie Maker Magazines, "Top 25 Film Festivals in the US." Brent was the only filmmaker nominated by name in three categories of the Milan International Film Festival ( Best Directing, Best Screenwriting, Best Picture ), for his work on "Eagles" and took home the greatly coveted Leonardo DaVinci's Horse Award for Best Screenwriting. Brent also garnered the coveted Best Director award in Hollywood before a sold-out crowd at the Egyptian Theater and the film took home the Audience Award in New York at the New York United Film Festival. Brent continues to write, direct and act in commercial campaigns and feature films and has completed multiple spec screenplays and TV pilot scripts.
