Bo Kane grew up in Griffith, Indiana, the youngest of three boys. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame (where he was also on the boxing team) with a degree in Business Administration, and later received his MBA from the University of Denver. The switch from business to acting began in Chicago when Bo was studying at Second City, and was hired as a precision driver for the film "The Blues Brothers". He began his LA acting career in the 80's with shows like Young & Restless, General Hospital, films such as El Norte and Child's Play, and several commercials. During that time he began a volunteer job as an equestrian coach for the California Special Olympics, a position that he held for 16 years, and included coaching athletes in the World Games. Bo is a former newspaper columnist, and is the author of the book "50 Acting Scenes For Teens" (Burbank Publishing). He and his wife, Denise Loveday, have two children. Bo is the kids' baseball, assistant basketball, and acting coach, and uses far too many sports metaphors in his acting classes for kids. Bo is also an avid video cameraman, working not only on independent projects, but casting athletes for film and commercial projects. Show less «
