Blake Crawford has long been involved in the theater arts as a U.S. resident of Japan. His early interests include Nihon Buyo (Japanese Dance) where he earned the second highest rank of "Nattori" in 1991 in the Fujima School of dance while in Kyoto, the cultural center of Japan. He also performed as a Kabuki actor for many years in a well-known troupe in Kobe.
