Benjamin Governale was born in Brooklyn N.Y. 1958.His early years were spent there , however he was well traveled As a youth as his Fathers work took the family for extend periods , to South America , the Carribean , and all over the u.S.A .It was on these travels, that he gained a Varied experience of different cultures vastly different than that of his already character rich Italian neighborhood of Bensonhurst! The young family lived and was educated in the way's and lifestyles of many varied peoples. As an inquisitive youth , he gained a love for the outdoors , learning to ride horses , hunting ,fishing ,snorkel diving , motorcycling and learning to speak Spanish ,and helping local farmers and and ranchers with their chores, and a respect and love for the diversity of Cultures rich in interesting Accents and customs of the people that the young traveler encountered. His love for Acting and voice mimicry , was instilled by real life characters and experience , performing in school plays , and making his own skits on early reel recorders .upon Graduating high school in Houston Texas , he followed his fathers footsteps into the construction industry ,and began traveling on his own experiencing many of the wild boomtowns in the Rocky Mt. West working many dangerous jobs in the mining , high voltage power line ,helicopter long line power transmission, mine rescue and general heavy construction ,pipeline and oil and gas industry ,ranching and mechanics. His love for acting resurfaced in his early 20's, and his first real role was as a horseback riding Native American in the made for t.V. mini series " Centenial ". It was shortly after this time that he met his wife and settled into the peaceful community of Fort Bridger Wyoming, raising 3 children on a small "ranchette "there. An avid mechanic and restorer of vintage cars and motorcycles .His love for acting and performing led him to the small acting market of SLC Utah , often traveling 200 plus miles for auditions, and an ongoing study to acquire his b.A .after having some success and after the children were grown , he traveled to Los Angeles, and Back to his home of N.y.C. for further education and work in the bigger markets. A determined ,hardworking ,respectful and still inquisitive spirit, with a love of sharing the many stories and quirks of the people he encountered, he continues to take on adventures not often associated with peers of his age group
