Ben Bocko is an Actor, Director, and Cinematographer born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He is slated to appear in Episode 2.7 of City on a Hill (2019), and is in production on Season 4 of Good Girls (2018). In the Indie world, he is known for his work in the Horror/Thriller, Walk Away (2020), and the cultural Documentary, The Gaucho (2016). His mother is a published Geologist and retired Science Teacher who raised him as a single parent. His late father, who passed away while Ben was in high school, was a Finish Carpenter who loved to work on boats and go sailing.Ben has been performing on stage since he was five years old. His first home as a young actor was with The New Hampshire Theatre Project in Portsmouth, where he began honing his craft throughout Middle School and High School. He attended Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, where he continued his theatrical work as an actor, set builder, and lighting technician with the resident Shakespeare troupe, The Oxford Street Players. In 2012, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography with Minors in Art History and Design. He also focused heavily on filmmaking in much of his work in school.In 2017, he graduated from the Tom Todoroff Conservatory, where he studied under notable faculty such as Giles Foreman, Austin Pendleton, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Emily Bergl, Miriam Silverman, Julia Lenardon, Andrew Wade (RSC), and Jean-Claude van Itallie.
