Aubrey Arnason spent the first 5 years of her life living in the United States while her father Chuck Arnason completed his career in the NHL. She later went to school in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she attended the theatre program at the University of Manitoba. Relocating to Vancouver, British Columbia she graduated from Vancouver Film School and Langara College. Aubrey is well known for the award winning TV series The Wedding Belles. In 2013 she produced/hosted Shaw's AMPIA award winning series The Proposal. The co-creator of Kits, a scripted half hour series, she co- produced the pilot episode for City TV followed by another City TV pilot entitled The Range. A series she created based on her family's experience of life after the NHL. Aubrey's brother Tyler Arnason also had a NHL career. Aubrey has been nominated for 12 Leo awards for writing, hosting and producing. In 2014 she received the Leo Award for best TV host. She co-directed the Crazy 8 Film Kindergarten, Da Bin Ich Wieder, which she also wrote and starred in, as well as writing and starring in the film Payment a BravoFACT production. In February 2017 she wrote and directed another movie titled The Winter Song.
