Antonio Trejo Sánchez, screen and stage actor, was born on December 30th, 1987, in San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León. He obtained a Theatrical Arts degree from the University of Nuevo León. He started his career in such plays as "El verdadero pájaro caripocápote", dir. Maru Jaimes), "El eterno fugitivo" and "Molière" (2010, dir. Luis Martín).In 2011 traveled to Mexico City to study a Voice Degree at Centro de Estudios del Uso de la Voz (CEUVOZ, INBA). While on the city, he had small roles in shows like "Paramédicos", "Locked up abroad" and "El César" and performed the stage plays "El ansia", 2012, "Morir y rencarnar bajo un manzano" (dir. Benjamín Castro-Ruiz) and "Elena 68" (dir. Iván Ontiveros).He starred the stage monologue "Binary" ("Binario", 2013) which he also produced and directed, and which performed in the Festival de Teatro Nuevo León 2014. He performed in the dance plays "Rituales" and "Manga ancha" (2012, 2013) by Cuerpo Mutable - Teatro en movimiento (dir. Lydia Romero) with shows in Palacio de Bellas Artes. He played Rafael Estrella in "El Gesticulador" (dir. Iván Domínguez-Azdar) -the company Teatro Nuevo León's second production.His stage work has lead him to perform in festivals such as Festival de Teatro Nuevo León, Muestra Nacional de Teatro y Festival Internacional Cervantino.Recently, he plays Winchester in "The galactic cowboy" ("El vaquero galáctico", 2018, dir. David Colorado) and ended his work on the first season of "Hernán" (Dopamine, 2019; dir. Julián de Tavira), his screen debut playing Cuitláhuac, Moctezuma's brother. He's also starring the stage monologue "On the dangers of weed", a cringe comedy play which he also writes, produces and directs.
