Annie Lee was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She first got the acting bug at the age of 9 and studied at UCLA's Young Performer's Workshop. During high school she worked to pursue the medical field, but fate let her back to entertainment and she was scouted to do some modeling, print work, runway, commercials, and music videos. During college she found her love for performing again through Children's Theatre and eventually trained with renowned acting coaches in Hollywood such as Brian Reise, David Kagen, Catlin Adams, and Doug Warhit.Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA, she began tackling the production & distribution end of Entertainment through companies like First Look Pictures, and working with producers such as Doug Claybourne (North Country, The Fast and the Furious) while pursuing acting.Annie can currently be seen starring in a Christian Film titled, "Rose of Sharon," directed by Elliot Hong. Beautiful scenery from Israel, the Holy Land, was captured in this heartfelt story. It is to be released in April 2006 in Korea & later in the US. Her feature film debut was in "Close Call," which was released in the US April 2004.As a filmmaker, she produced a short film titled Tomato and Eggs (2002), directed by Shawn Chou starring Lisa Lu (The Joy Luck Club), Michelle Krusiec (HBO's Mind of a Married Man), Keiko Agena (WB's Gilmore Girls), and Sab Shimono (The Big Hit), which won the Audience Award for Best Asian-American Short Film at the Big Bear Film Festival.Her recent endeavors include acting, producing and keeping busy with involvement in many independent projects. She has coached children at the LA Performing Arts Center for children, volunteered at the Korean Youth Community Center with the Teen Theatre department, and is a member of the award-winning Lodestone Theatre Ensemble. As an entrepreneur she also owns a retail clothing store named CHIC Collection. Ms. Lee continues to study the craft of acting & filmmaking.
