Born to Greek immigrants in a small town in Northern California, Anna grew up in a unique and charismatic family. As a child, she always had a flair for the dramatic, imitating TV personalities and standing out in local musical and theatre performances. Although she loved acting and performing, Anna moved to Washington, DC to pursue an academically rigorous program in International Relations at Georgetown University and to work for the U.S. Department of State. Her outgoing personality and love of performance, however, led her to seek creative opportunities beyond her routine desk job. She rediscovered her love of acting and began training and auditioning for TV and film roles. She landed principal roles on Lifetime Television and in independent feature films such as Reminisce (Dark Ronin Films) and Mysterious Prison (Sequoia Pictures) as well as lead roles in short films such as Times Up (MCMFILMS), for which she won Best Actress at the 2013 World Media Independent Film Festival.
