From her salsa-loving mom, a Spanish gramma who married an Indian in the steamy Panama jungles. Anna grew up in the Canal Zone, Panama, an American jungle oasis, with lots of beaches, sunshine, palm trees, jungle monkeys, and Carnival time. She has a B.A. in Dance and English Lit, and a Masters in TV Broadcasting. She worked as a TV reporter before moving to Los Angeles and catching the acting bug.
