Ever since he was 2 years old Angelo wanted to be an actor. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Martha and Angelo Romanelli Sr., Angelo Romanelli grew up along with his brother Michael in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. He attended St. Josephs elementary and Monsignor Bonner all-male Catholic high school. He learned the meaning of hard work at a young age from his father. He got his first job at age 12 and continued to work as a landscaper for his grandfather Charles Kloss through high school. While in 11th grade he had a son, Angelo Romanelli III. This was to change his life forever, for the better. Learning responsibility and the importance of goals at a young age he set his sights high and decided to move 3000 miles away to attend University of Southern California. He graduated with a degree in business emphasizing international marketing and entrepreneur studies. After 109 interviews Angelo decided to take a job as a corporate buyer, and hated it. He took some time off to travel and upon the urging of his girlfriend Rochelle saying "if you don't do it, you'll always regret not trying" he decided to start a business. Using skills gained from USC, he opened bUONgUSTO Italian Ice originally as a retail store then expanded to include wholesaling and mobile locations. With the help of his family the business continued to grow year after year but Angelo still felt he was missing something. He realized it was because he walked away from his dream of acting and, again upon the urging of Rochelle, he decided to get back into it by auditioning for The Full Monty. He got the part and hasn't looked back since continuing to take roles on TV, film and stage. All the while he continues to train and work hard to make a career out of his passion to entertain.
