Angela is an Australian-Canadian actress, raised on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, who recently moved to Los Angeles and then Vancouver to passionately pursue her career further, in love of her acting craft.She has been acting and performing since a very young age as her grandmother (retired actor, acting coach and director) encouraged her performing goals by coaching her in voice work, movement, auditioning improvisation and script analysis. Since being introduced through training from this early age, she has been pursuing acting with fervor and determination since she was 8 years old after starring in several Independent Feature Films and Short Films. These films have required her playfulness and willingness for adventure which has been evoked by her sporting, active lifestyle. She has trained in many different sports such as sailing, surf life saving, swimming, surfing, horse riding, hiking, various types of dance, competitive skiing and snowboarding, practicing yoga and gymnastics.Angela has always loved the musical side of performing. She has trained in piano, flute and singing while performing in concerts. These skills enabled her to star in the musicals, 'Footloose', 'Oklahoma' and 'Disco Inferno' by locally renowned Pittwater Musical Society. Her singing and acting talents have allowed her to give back to the community through various charities. This included her volunteered performance in 'La Fiesta' (2010 Mayumarri -supporting childhood abuse),created by Liz Mullinar, which aimed to raise money to shelter and aid teens in need. Each year she also supports The Breast Cancer Foundation, the 40 Hr Famine and One Million Women.In April 2010, she partook in a "life changing experience" that inspired her to move to Los Angeles to 'broaden her acting horizons' and especially to study with the Margie Haber Studios of Acting. While there, she was able to meet and work with renowned industry professionals including managers, casting directors, directors and actors such as Mark Steven Johnson, Eva Mendes, Zak Barnett, Greg Sulkin, Tim Bagley and of course, Margie Haber.Angela is a passionate and proactive individual. She works at any given task in a determined manner to achieve her goals, especially for her career as an actor. Her love for adventure, risk, nature and the outdoors makes Angela a well rounded and down-to-earth person. Show less «
