In the vivacious but often unglamorous artist community of Allston, Massachusetts, Andrew Gibson is the lens that captures all the action. A filmmaker, photographer, and musician, Gibson has worn many hats among Greater Boston's hoard of creatives, from directing music videos for nationally touring bands and record labels to touring the country as the bassist for popular punk quartet Gymshorts to working on major Hollywood films like David O. Russell's American Hustle and Larry David's Clear History. A familiar face to most within the scene, Gibson created and launched a video initiative for staple local music blog Allston Pudding, capturing the unleashed spirit of live basement rock while lifting many local acts from the underground into national spotlight.
