A homegrown Georgia native with the spark of a 'Jersey Girl,' Amy Tardo McCoy grew up in Atlanta, Ga with a love for writing, theatre, and music. Despite these artistic persuasions, after her adolescence Amy pursued a degree in Information Technology and ended up joining the herds in the corporate cubical farm. In order to quell her restless artistic spirit, she sang lead and backup with several bands, including Atlanta's own "The Commitaphobics."After a horribly botched attempt at the GRE in 2007, Amy decided that grad school wasn't for everyone (and most certainly not for her!) Instead, she began pursuing her dreams instead of following the rules. She joined an improv class at Atlanta's infamous (and now defunct) Relapse Theatre, and her life has never been better.Amy is still performing improv and happily working with Privilege Talent SouthEast. You can see her in several crime re-enactment shows including "Homicide Hunter, Lt. Joe Kenda, " "Fatal Attraction," "Swamp Murders." and the web series "Dire Straights." Amy lives in Atlanta with her husband, their 4 cats, and all the voices that live inside her head.
