Atlanta native, Alfred R. Lewis III has always had a love for entertaining and performing, appreciating the art of storytelling as he engages with audiences. His ability to connect with his characters tend to have a lasting impact on all with whom he comes in contact, and he has been recognized by film, voiceover and theater directors as having a strong work ethic, unmatched by some adults. The fun and energetic 12-year-old 7th grader will soon be seen as a series regular on the hit Disney Channel television series "Bunk'd," where he will be playing the role of 'Bill.' Alfred is looking forward to the Season 2 release of the PBS animated television series, "DIY Science Time," produced by Alabama Public Television and Kevin Cornell and the summer release of "The Urbans" (Season 2 Episode 2), in which he played a character that allowed him to go head-to-head with comedian Rodney Perry of Tyler Perry's "Madea's Big Happy Family" and "Coming to America 2."Alfred has been fortunate to have a growing list of credits across television, film and theater at such a young age. Fans may recognize him from his guest starring role as 'Jamal' in Season 23 Episode 7 of the world-renowned television series "Law and Order: SVU." Most recently, he can be seen in the lead as 'Jibril' (opposite Priah Ferguson from "Stranger Things") in the film "Glitter Ain't Gold," directed by Christian Nolan Jones and executive produced by hip hop artist Common. This film received high honors at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival. He can also be seen in the award-winning and NAACP Image Award nominated short film "Mr. and Mrs. Ellis" in the supporting lead role of 'Kendall Ellis' and in the award-winning film "Hands Up," in the supporting lead role of 'Jessie Calhoun' (from 1857 and 2020). Appearing in a Mercedes Benz national commercial, was a huge highlight for him. Additionally, he received rave reviews for his role as young 'Rabbit' in the three-week dramatic theater showing of "The Re-Rooting," written by Betty Norwood Chaney and directed by Brenda Porter of Impact Theater.Alfred is an honor student whose favorite subjects are language arts and history. He is an avid WWE fan and loves sports, with his favorite teams being the LA Lakers and Kansas City Chiefs.
