Early Life and Education----Alexis Allotta was raised in Boca Raton, Florida and trained in theatre at Columbia College Chicago. While focusing on stage work at Columbia, she was invited to star in a school-produced short film, which heightened her interest in screen roles. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016.----Stage and Screen Career----Post graduation, Allotta appeared as Nikki Black in the off-Broadway production 'Tony n' Tina's Wedding,' a comedy that involves interaction with the audience. She described her character as a "goth, angry, loner" who becomes affected by the titular wedding. Allotta also began work as a model. While continuing her career on-stage, she co-founded the Bittersweet Arts Company, a theatre troupe comprised of Columbia College alums.In 2020, Allotta signed with Big Mouth Talent while pursing a career in screen acting. The following year, she won a lead role in the Lifetime film 'Happily Never After.' In the tale, Allotta plays a wedding planner who seeks to prevent her ex-lover from marrying his betrothed. The film debuted in June 2022 on Lifetime. Her performance was called "compelling" by 'The Cinemaholic.'----Personal Life----Allotta is a friend of her 'Happily Never After' co-star Erinn Fredin.
