Growing up in Cranston, Rhode Island, Alexandra was a shy child who buried her nose in books, art and sports. It was not until she was placed in a theater production at school, at the age of 10, that she had ever been on stage. She discovered during her stint as Susan B Anthony that if she improvised her lines everyone in the audience laughed. The thrill of knowing that people were laughing at her antics gave her the immediate acting bug.She spent her years in school keeping her dream of acting guarded, instead focusing on singing in an international choir, running, playing soccer and academics. It was not until she arrived at college that she realized she could finally pursue her dream of acting. She landed her first audition for the dramatic society on campus and became a regular fixture in their stage productions. A visiting director encouraged Alexandra to seek out acting opportunities outside the campus and she began appearing in productions throughout Boston. When she returned back home to Rhode Island, Alexandra began competing in the Miss America and Miss USA pageant systems. These pageants offered her the opportunity to perform, model and make connections in the entertainment industry.Upon graduating college, after studying biology and chemistry, Alexandra landed a job at a prestigious biotechnology company. It was then she began dividing her time between the job and her acting. She currently can be found residing in Rhode Island, modeling, making movies, and making waves.
