Alex was born in Flint, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with a B.A. in English. His writing career began in San Francisco, where he worked as an award winning copywriter at shops like Butler, Shine & Stern and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. In 2002 Alex moved to Los Angeles where he penned the first of many original screenplays. In 2009 Alex began directing commercials and short films and by 2011 Shoot Magazine named him as one of the top new 25 directors in the world. Show less «
