Ajay was born in London, England, on September 21, 1982 to parents of Indian origin. After studying drama at school, he acquired an immense passion for the art and went on to star in some commercials and did a variety of acting work as well as some modeling. His main profession was, however, in the finance industry, having studied business and finance at Kingston University. In March 2008 he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full time acting career and to aid with this, attended the New York Film Academy in LA, studying acting for one year.Ajay produced his first project, a short film in 2008, titled 'Men Will Be Boys', later transformed into a web series, which he both Produced and Directed.In 2009, he had roles in '24' for 8 episodes, and one episode of 'NCIS'. He also had a leading role in a feature titled 'Rejouer', and starred in national commercials for 'The Hartford' and 'Subway'.Upon his return to London in 2010, Ajay struggled with the idea of having to start from scratch the reputation he had worked so hard to build in LA, and faced immense barriers to break into the world he so loved, and so, founded Khando Entertainment, a worldwide production company, casting house and talent agency. The aim was to have everything under one roof and create a family of like minded individuals to create motion pictures that speak volumes to the masses.Khando's first feature project is a co-production with Celtino Entertainment called "Tin Holiday" shot in London and LA in summer 2013.
