Ahmed Jawed Khan Pathaan is an Indian actor, Pathaan was born to Nabi Khan Pathaan (Dad) and Jamila Khaaanam Pathaan (Mom). He comes from the mohammadzai ancestry of pathaan warriors. Pathaan was a highly trained bodyguard and worked in the field for 7 years simultaneously joining films in 2014. he was brought up in the capital city of India; New Delhi, finished his junior education and moved back to Mumbai in 2009. a chance meeting with a junior film maker inspired him towards acting. Pathaan has also dabbled in photography and loves writing film stories and finds pleasure in reading about different things. he says his most prized possession are his childhood friends Vivek, Akash, Manish & Amit as he considers them no less than brothers & misses them a lot. he got his first break in the movie Teraa Surroor (2016) and feels indebted & immensely thankful to Himesh Reshammiya, and his second big break is his bollywood movie Panipat (2019) where he plays Barkhurdar Khan directed by Oscar nominated film maker Ashutosh Gowarikar (for his mentor film maker, Pathaan lovingly says: the man who saw my tomorrow) for giving him an opportunity which has changed his life forever. in his spare time Pathaan plays cricket, writes poems, and loves watching Hollywood superhero movies. but his favorite movie is Karma (1986) and he says: the songs 'har karam apna karenge aye watan tere liye' from Karma and 'kar chalein hum fida jaan o tann saathiyo' from haqeeqat (1964) makes him teary eyed every single time he listens to them as he considers himself a true patriotic Indian and loves his country more than his life any given day.
