Raised in the center of the burgeoning, local Merseyside music scene of the 70s,as a child, The Beatles were regular visitors to his family home. His father is Shane Fenton PKA Alvin Stardust, chart topping Brit glam-rock star of the 70s and 80s. A multi-hyphenate, he has built a stellar, transcontinental reputation as an award-winning, genre-crossing artist, music producer, film composer, and international star DJ. Adam taught himself to play the piano and guitar. His music career began in the early 90s, influenced by jazz-fusion and 80s British electronica that was the foundation of MTV (they aired several of his music videos from his debut 'Colours' - the electronica album for which he won a British MOBO Award for Best Album. The MOBO is the UK's equivalent to an American Grammy. After an 18 month tour, 'Colours' was RIAA-certified Gold. The success of his album in the dance music world landed Adam in the mysterious stratosphere of international celebrity DJs (jettisoned around the World and paid 5-10 digit figures to mix at clubs and music festivals). He appeared on magazine covers and television and radio shows worldwide and was given his own Saturday night mix show on London's KISS 100FM.Adam's versatility led to calls from David Bowie and LL Cool J. Finding him then working with such a diversity of artists as Missy Elliott, The Pet Shop to Destiny's Child. His urban soundtrack "KAOS: The Anti-Acoustic Warfare" (EMI/UK) saw Adam producing hip hop stalwarts De La Soul, LL Cool and Redman, etc. (for whom Adam composed and scored music for a 70 piece orchestra and 64 member choir to create the anthemic hit "Smash Sumthin'" - also featured in EA Games "Def Jam Vendetta"). The collaboration with LL resulted in a #1 Billboard-charted single, "The G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time)".The song served as the title single from LL's eponymous multi-platinum release which went on to ultimately become the rapper's first #1 album. Radio One's Tim Westwood astounded listeners by rewinding and replaying the song an unprecedented 5 times in his mix show. In addition to a #1 Billboard Platinum disc, Adam's achievements include 4 RIAA-certified Gold discs, 11 UK Top 40 Singles. Adam also composed a full orchestral score for WWF/WCW Champion Wrestling and his more recent production for Redman, "Rush The Security", is featured Activision's "True Crime: New York City" multi-platform video game.He has been in front of the camera on music networks and award shows across the globe and took drama classes as a teen, but it was not until 2005 that he began to seriously consider a foray into acting, deciding to first undertake nearly two years of intensive training/coaching in Meisner and Stanislavski, before even wanting to be considered for any roles. He counts among his teachers Dee Cannon of London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) and Britain's highly acclaimed Meisner instructor Scott Williams. Show less «
