You know something? I think songwriters have the greatest obituaries in the world. When a songwriter dies, the minute you read the list of the songs he wrote, you start to identify with him. All those titles. They strike nerves inside you. It's like Noel Coward said in one of his plays - the remarkable power of cheap music.
