Multi-faceted performer, writer and educator Aaron Braxton's career spans film, television, education, literature and theatre. His critically acclaimed solo play, DID YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK? ran a record breaking 9 months at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and garnered several national and international awards.Hailing from Roxbury, MA, and growing up in Santa Rosa, CA, he currently holds a B.A. from San Diego State University and a M.A. from the University of Southern California. A true renaissance man, he's an award-winning educator, having taught math, science and English to underrepresented communities in Los Angeles and served several years on the board of a high performing charter school in Inglewood, California.In addition, Aaron has authored several books including the Emma Book Award nominated, Jesse and the Caterpillar Who Got Its Wings, the Max Lerner Fellowship Award winning play, BROKEN, Going Solo, I AM, Playwriting Made Simple, Tear Down the Walls (A Black History play for middle school students) and Belafonte Unauthorized (solo play). Other writing projects include The Sub (TV pilot), A Long Way From Sunday (film), The Longest Goodbye (film) and To Lie Beneath (film).As an actor, he has starred, guest starred or co-starred in several film, television, and theatre projects including the upcoming feature film, 20 Minutes (2020).
