Peter Stone is a member of the Degrassi class of 2009. He's a troubled young man who is capable of hurting people to get back at them, although he seems to have a way of forging relationships with women he has embarrassed. He can be thoughtless and even cruel, but also capable of coming through when it matters.He could be thought to be acting out against his mother, Daphne Hatzilakos, who is the principal when he attends Degrassi.He is best friends with Riley Stavros and also friends with Spinner Mason, Sav Bhandari, Danny Van Zandt and Jane Vaughn. He is a rival of Sean Cameron.Peter is first introduced at the pool and seen by Emma, who develops a crush on him. But he's more interested in her best friend Manny Santos. When Manny rebuffs his advances, he sends a revealing drunken video of her to the whole school. Nevertheless, he is eventually able to woo Emma, although he handles it very poorly when her ex-boyfriend Sean Cameron comes back to town. The two engage in a street race that nearly has tragic consequences.He later becomes involved with Darcy Edwards through the course of taking photos of her. He is later involved with Mia Jones and then Victoria.Background: He is in a band with Spinner, Danny and Sav called STUDZ. After graduation he goes on to attend Toronto University.
