Based on his short stories, Robert Kerbeck was selected for mentorship by the managing editor of Tin House. One of these stories was adapted into the film, "Connected," directed by SJ Main, starring Barbara Bain and Kerry O'Malley. Robert's work has appeared in dozens of literary journals. In 2016 he was the recipient of the upstreet short fiction scholarship at the VCFA Postgraduate writers' conference, a finalist for the Writers@Work fellowship, and his first play, "Putin and the Snowman," opened Off-Broadway. A member of the Actors Studio, Robert has worked extensively in theater, film, and television, appearing in lead roles in major shows, earning several awards. Retired from acting in 2001, he is now primarily a writer.
