In 2012, he won an Offie (People's favorite male performance) for his performance as an accused killer in "As We Forgive Them," at the Arcola Theatre in London. In addition to his appearances on TV, in the theatre, and in films, Sims has more than 50 radio credits to his name, including a run on the British radio drama "The Archers." Joe was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2017 BBC Audio Drama Awards for his portrayal of a suicidal boxer in Al Smith's award winning drama "Lifelines".
