Eitra Kennedy, a versatile up and coming actor, was born in Arlington, VA into a family of artists where it was inevitable he'd become the same. Always acting in some capacity all throughout his childhood, he made his priority finishing school and getting an education. He studied at Emerson College, where he majored in Theatre Education, but always had his eyes set on becoming an actor.His career in the arts and entertainment industry proves that experience and training come in many shapes, sizes and forms. His experiences reflect a dynamic of old and new, heavily influencing who he is and the qualities to pursue who he will become. The son of two artists and the grandson of a renowned Obie Award winning playwright, and a retired Peace Corp Director and Co-founder and Director of International Affairs at Africare, his life represents many different cultures and has encouraged him that through education, communication, art, and culture, he can contribute to the advancement of our society. Eitra Kennedy is a child of diversity. Various credits and opportunities from numerous areas of the industry have come his way, including work in news anchoring, hosting, commercials, voice-overs, dance, singing/song-writing, acting on stage/camera and more.
