Dilyan Kalchev was born 30th of June 1996. At the age of 3, he starts practicing a lot of sports such as: swimming, skiing and continues until now a days doing many other sports (football, water-polo, badminton). He realizes that he wants to be an actor when he was 12 years old. The movie that inspired him was "Power Rangers". 3 years later he signs up for a theatre academy of the Bulgarian professional actor Petar Varbanov. During his studies he was performing in amateur theatre (Anthony and Cleopatra and King Richard III by William Shakespeare, Camino Real by Tennessee Williams). Also he signed a contract with one of the best model agencies in Bulgaria "Ivet Fashion", and later on he was chosen for a episodic role in a teenage TV-Series in Bulgaria called Revolution- Z. In 2015 he performs a role (Curley) from the play "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck with his theatrical group at a amateur theatre festival and they win first place. He did few commercials and music video clips back in Bulgaria. Now he is attending Coventry University studying "Media Production" until 2018/19, he wants to graduate first and then will continue with his acting career. His biggest dream is one day to be on the "big" screen and to walk on the red carpet. His inspiration is the Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio. Show less «
