CRITICS OF "The Summit (La cordillera) [Sub: Eng]"
Variety

I don't know if it's worse than a politician without ambition, but there's something inherently dispiriting about a film with significant means and nothing to say.
Although Ricardo Darín supplies the necessary world-weary gravitas as Argentina's untested leader, director Santiago Mitre fails to bring this ambitious endeavour to life.
The Summit abandons quite early on being a simple fictional account of power, drawing instead, with intelligence and formal concision, the silhouette of what can only be described as something sinister.
