CRITICS OF "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety [Audio: Hindi]"
The Times of India
Despite its misogynistic nature, Ranjan's lighthearted approach to counter gender stereotypes in modern relationships makes his take fascinating...The casting works well as all performances are in sync with the film's cheeky demeanour.
The one thing that worked for Pyaar Ka Punchnama films was the relatability, even if it was restricted to guys-only discussions. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety doesn't have that, nor is it funny.
What's interesting is that director Ranjan has done a splendid job of creating a believable extended family...If you are in the mood for a spirited bromance, then be sure to watch this one.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety could have done with tighter editing as the second half drags a bit...The film has sharp, witty dialogue, and it's these which make you laugh the most.
