A disciplined little boy called Antaine One of the parents, Ion O'Donnell, tried to influence him to fight in 1916 because he believed there was no way for Britain to get out of Ireland except violence. After 50 years, Antaine returns to Derry but becomes a strongman and an experienced young man. Perhaps the appearance of the young man will cause Eoin to throw back the cause of his collapse in 1916, perhaps that effect has great echoes.
