In 1944 the Russian army attacked East Germany. After the attack to destroy Nazi convoy, Sergeant Dolokhov and Commandos discovered a secret that could change the course of the war, but they were captured by German troops. The secret which the Russian discovered was that Strasser colonel was growing a invincible fighting force: an unstoppable army of Nazi soldiers - zombie.
With producer and story credits on the first two instalments Kieran Parker makes his directorial debut and you can tell he knows the Outpost films inside and out.
The dialogue is riddled with more than a few action movie clichés, but this is no bar to enjoying the fast-paced, grimly serious character drama and epic bloodletting. For gore fans, this is a treat.
Despite the addition of Russian special forces soldiers, the Outpost franchise is beginning to lose steam by falling into a dull state of Nazi zombie filled redundancy.
