The creators' ambition is to reveal the dramatic fate of Milada Horakova, who at that time shocked the world. The scenario of David Mnnky is based not on a description of the political situation in Czechoslovakia at that time, but on the basis of real events without excessive pathos tells the personal story of the protagonist. He records Milady's ambitions and doubts, the division between domestic and family responsibilities, the determination to live according to her beliefs. The daughter of Milada Horakov, Jan Horakov - Kansk, the creators provided unpublished documents and materials, such as personal letters, family photos, memories of Boguslav Horak. 'Milada is not a documentary, and we have not even tried it. Nevertheless, it contains excerpts with precise quotes, such as Milady's last letters, her speech during the trial, Gottwald's speech from Unor and others. The rest of the texts were written on the basis of how and what the real characters said at that time. This is a historical film based on real history, - explained David Mrnk.
