The feature film MANNY LEWIS is the brainchild of Australia’s favourite comedian, Carl Barron. It follows the story of a stand-up comedian Manny Lewis who connects with millions of fans but finds it hard to connect to one person. Manny struggles to overcome his sense of alienation and shyness, and a difficult relationship with his father, in a romantic and feel-good quest for the love of the quirky Maria.
Manny Lewis is a bittersweet, utterly charming romantic comedy, and Carl Barron is a delight.

Trespass
The incessant talk that continues from start to finish might just be the movie's strongpoint -- and given how clumsy and contrived it is, that's saying something.
I like the concept - a successful comedian who can't relate to anyone beyond his audience - but somehow this well-meaning comedy starring Aussie comedian Carl Barron fails to ignite
Absolutely terrible...Unfunny, aimless and largely pointless, you'd be better off listening to five minutes of any Carl Barron routine than submitting yourself to yet another Australian feature film that apparently had no audience in mind.
