The film follows the story of a girl named Bahar, who is the leader of a women's battalion in Kurdistan called the Girls the Girls of the Sun. This women's battalion is fighting against the extremists who have invaded their Kurdish town. With the passage of time, Bahar tries to retrieve her son who is being held hostage before it is too late. During this women's war, Mathilde, a French journalist, is taking on a new experience in order to cover the attack and report the story of these extraordinary warriors.
