This was not about making "bad straight people". This was about letting us the audience understand that discrimination and hate and prejudice still exist in the life of a homosexual person, and that's a fact. You identify with being a bad straight person? That's your bullshit conscience. Stop throwing around these political terms loosely and enjoy the movie for its messages and underlying themes.
