The movie follows women's suffrage leaders Alice Paul and Lucy Burns who risk their lives to revolutionize the American feminist movement to grant women the right to vote in the final fight for the 19th Amendment to the Constitution.
A stunning true story unfortunately tarted up for modern audiences, infused with modern informalities, fictional romances and wildly incongruous post-feminist empowerment pop.
