The god of disorder - Set, who takes over the Egyptian empire and plunges the prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. The film takes place in an alternate world Egypt, where the world is flat and the gods live among mortal humans. Thwaites plays the mortal hero Bek who partners with the god Horus, played by Coster-Waldau, to save the world and rescue his love.
