Poor Max Grabelski doesn't have any luck at all. On the run from authorities, Max poses as a scout leader on a camping trip. But he has no idea what he's in for when he has to lead a group of kids.

TV Guide
The script jerks from scene to scene like a string of sketches, and if there's any debate about whether or not to see it, your degree of tolerance for Stern's sad-sack mugging should be the deciding factor.
Riddled with noble sentiments and good intentions, this great-outdoors hijinx is hiking familiar trails with a combination of bathroom humor, cute kids and a fuzzy, happy ending.
