~ Final Fantasy VII ~Yuffie Kisaragi is a female ninja who first appeared in the Squaresoft game Final Fantasy VII. In this game, she is sixteen years ago. She is a stalwart fighter, but quiet, secretive, and sneaky.Yuffie sneaks her way into the player's party in order to gain a certain something. It turns out that she is actually after the group's Materia -- powerful orbs crystallized from Mako energy that have the ability to call up magic powers.Yuffie was born in the town of Wutai, but only knows as it is today -- a cheesy resort town. Nevertheless, Yuffie is fiercely proud of what her town once was and seeks only to restore it. This creates a rift between her, and her father, Godo, who gave in to Shinra, Inc. after he lost the war to save the town. Yuffie hopes that by gathering Materia, she can restore the town's greatness. In the end, the party recovers the Materia. Yuffie then defeats the five masters of the Wutai Pagoda, including her father, who reveals that he now hides his strength in order to protect what's left of the town. He then asks Yuffie, in private, to try to petition the group to give the Materia to her once their battle is over.Yuffie suffers from motion sickness and has trouble riding on ships on either sea or air. She asks for advice from the game's main character, Cloud Strife, who also suffers from this condition, but his tips don't work for her.Yuffie fights using various Shurikens. Most of these are long-range weapons, meaning that they can do the same damage when Yuffie is placed in the back row. Her ultimate weapon, Conformer, is particularly useful for Morphing.~ Kingdom Hearts Series ~In the Kingdom Hearts series, Yuffie is a part of a group of characters that include Leon (Final Fantasy VIII's Squall Leonhart), Aerith (also from FFVII) , Cid (FFVII as well), and Merlin (wizard of legend.) The four once lived in a prosperous community known as Radiant Garden, but were forced out by the sorceress Maleficent (Disney's Sleeping Beauty) and the Heartless. In the original Kingdom Hearts game, this group lives in Traverse Town, but longs to return to Radiant Garden, which now goes by the name Hollow Bastion, as none can remember its true name. When the game's main character, Sora, and his companions Donald Duck and Goofy defeat Maleficent, they are able to return. In Kingdom Hearts II, they are in the process of restoring Hollow Bastion to what it was once. They invite Sora and his friends to join the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee. Yuffie personally introduces them to the group. She continues to aid them throughout their adventures, all while working to restore the town.Notable Quotes: What a boring place, just like I thought. I wanna go somewhere!
