A loyal servant to Katsumoto and the Emperor, Ujio is the weapons master of the Samurai under Katsumoto, training the loyal Samurai at Nobutada's village. He is very loyal to his lord Katsumoto, and while he at first shows great disrespect toward Nathen Algren, he begins to train him personally under Katsumoto's order. He then helps free Katosumoto from his captivity in Tokyo before engaging the Imperial Army in the final battle. He dies in the battle to multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, falling from his steed after losing his sword. Show less «
